The Mill International Pte Ltd was founded on 28 February 1998 as a small carpet and vinyl flooring supplier in Singapore, growing to a team of 46 staff occupying 14,000 sq ft. The company's proprietary EXPOflor and EXPOfabric brands have become leading names in Singapore's exhibition and events flooring industry, complemented by a partnership with DESSO, a global cradle-to-cradle certified carpet tile brand, for the commercial market. In a notable 2024 sustainability initiative covered by Channel NewsAsia, The Mill began recycling used event carpets from major gatherings including the Singapore Airshow and a Coldplay concert into resin pellets, moulded into new seating — reflecting the company's pivot toward sustainable flooring solutions for the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) industry.
