Son & Bear

Son & Bear is a Singapore boutique furniture retailer specializing in Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese wabi-sabi design, curating pieces suited to the compact living spaces common in Singapore homes. Their furniture is designed to be easily movable and reconfigurable, supporting homeowners who anticipate changing their layout over time rather than committing to fixed, heavy furniture arrangements. Beyond simple minimalist pieces, Son & Bear also offers more distinctive designs, such as the Leon Stool with its black satin finish and organic grain patterns, and the Kraft Designer Bench, built from kraft paper using a honeycomb structural technique that allows it to be reshaped into a round settee or folded for storage. This blend of quiet minimalism with occasional sculptural, material-driven pieces distinguishes Son & Bear from more conventional Scandinavian furniture retailers. For interior designers specifying furniture for compact residential projects that calls for a considered, design-forward aesthetic rather than mass-market minimalism, Son & Bear offers a curated boutique alternative within the Singapore furniture retail market.
