Steelcase Singapore

Steelcase was founded in 1912 in Grand Rapids, Michigan as the Metal Office Furniture Company, pioneering fireproof steel furniture before later collaborating with Frank Lloyd Wright on the Johnson Wax Headquarters furniture in 1937, widely regarded as the birth of the modern workstation. Now a publicly traded global leader in office furniture (NYSE: SCS), Steelcase Singapore operates a showroom in Robertson Quay showcasing its flagship Steelcase, turnstone, and Coalesse brand families. In 2018, Steelcase partnered with Microsoft to open the Steelcase WorkLife Centre in Singapore, a 5,100 sq ft showroom of technology-integrated "Creative Spaces" — the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. The company is known for insight-led, human-centered workplace design backed by decades of ergonomic research.
